So let’s go the usual way (Leopard then Snow Leopard Retail), though it’s upto you to choose. Let’s Get started: Phase I: Install Leopard on Virtualbox. Create a new Virtual Machine with name “Leopard”: System Type: BSD, FreeBSD; Create Disk (10 GB will suffice) with name “Leofx” System Motherboard Enable IO APIC. step 3 Insert your Mac OS X Snow Leopard installation DVD into your computers DVD drive. Then open ImgBurn and create an ISO image file of the installation DVD. Note the location of this ISO file, you’ll need it later. step 4 Open Oracle VM VirtualBox and create a new Virtual Machine. Aug 28, 2018 Hi, I’m new to VirtualBox, so apologies if I’m missing the obvious. I’m having some problems at the end of the setup procedure, I get so far, and no further. What I’ve got: iMac i3 3.2Ghz 8GB RAM, OS High Sierra 10.13.1 (clean install, no user files), VirtualBox 5.2.18, Snow leopard install disk (10.6.3).

- Simplest possible test VM to demonstrate the issue. If RAM set above 3504MB, no image ever appears on VM 'screen', and VM does not boot. If RAM set below this limit, EFI posts.
