'Avicii: True Stories’, the documentary following the life of Swedish EDM star Avicii, aka Tim Bergling, is back on Netflix after being removed following his death on April 20th last year.
Directed by Swedish filmmaker Levan Tsikurishvili, the films follows Avicii’s rapid rise to fame, thanks to hits such as ‘Levels’ and ‘Wake Me Up’, while also charting the toll it took on both his mental and physical health. Suffering from problems with alcohol to help cope with his discomfort in the limelight, he'd already given up touring prior to his death. A statement released by his family less than a week after he was found dead in a hotel room in Oman, aged just 28, also implied that he died by suicide, lending an extra poignancy to the documentary, which features the star saying his career will kill him.
Collaborator Aloe Blacc recently hinted at the possibility of a posthumous album.
