Season 4 Of Fortnite: Battle Royale Has Finally Started. After many teasers in social media, epic games has announced the start of Fortnite: Battle Royale season 4, which comes with a superhero theme. For some days, there have been strange happenings in the world of Fortnite, including meteors falling, and the image that.
Fortnite'sseason 3 is reaching its catastrophic conclusion as today marks the last day of the season. Beginning tomorrow, Epic Games will usher in a new era for Fortnite, and hopefully bring forth a complete revelation of all their new cosmetics that they’ve been hinting at.
Over the past week, the game’s Twitter has been fraught with teases, comets, and questions about what their messages mean. Epic themselves have been steadfast in their silence, subtly implicating at what’s to come with their crashing comet image. The game itself has brazenly featured meteors crashing and destroying parts of the map, but with their latest tease it seems the comet is officially actually launching season 4.
The newest image comes via the Fortnite Twitter, and features four characters emerging from what looks to be an impact crater. Notably, there are no buildings, trees, or even a clear sky. Only the glowing image obscuring the outfits of the characters, although the Elite Agent and Steelsight are clearly noticeable. The third character between the Elite Agent and Steelsight, however, seems to be a new skin. The glowing eyes are reminiscent of the Raven, albeit without the hood.

The glowing eyes, however, do slightly resemble that of the masked hero in the original comet tease, although the blue light and silhouette convey a more nefarious presence. One thing that seems for certain is that the comet will be crashing, as the developer cautions players to heed their words and 'brace for impact.'
What is still in the air is exactly what 'impact' the comet will have on the game. Meteors have been laying waste to the island, and rumors indicate that either Dusty Depot or the Tilted Towers could be destroyed by the incoming comet, while one leaker posits that the map itself may be updated weekly. Players will not have to wait long to see if any of these predictions come to fruition, except perhaps only a brief period of downtime as the game is updated to include the new content.
This is an exciting time for fans of the game as the question of the comet has been in play ever since it started out as a potential April fool's joke. Unless Epic decided that it was April fool's month and we've been strung far along this whole time, the big question may finally be answered and superhero content finally unveiled.
Fortniteis available now for iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
With the end of Fortnite: Battle Royale’s Season 3 only hours away, tons of fans are left wondering exactly when Season 4 kicks off. Over the last few days, developer Epic Games has seemingly been teasing a superhero theme for the new season somehow linked to one or more meteor strikes on the map, but when can we expect all of this to happen?

Season 3 was originally scheduled to end Monday, April 30, but there’s now an in-game countdown for Season 3’s end in the Battle Pass screen which confirms that Season 3 actually ends at 4 a.m. Eastern on Tuesday, May 1. And on Monday morning, Epic Games confirmed in a tweet that Season 4 would indeed start on Tuesday. There’s no official word regarding exactly when Season 4 will start, but the transition could very well be seamless. The tweet itself went out at precisely 10:15 a.m. Eastern, so could that be a clue that Season 4 starts at that time on Tuesday?

Until now, the many Season 4 teases merely said “coming soon,” along with cryptic phrases like “brace for impact.” Over the last few weeks, more and more meteors began streaming across the skies of Fortnite, and over the last few days they even began striking the island.

It’s virtually impossible to tell right now how the increasing frequency of meteor strikes connects to the teased superhero theme for Season 4, but in the newest teaser image, it looks like the four “heroes” are emerging from some crater created by a meteor impact. Does that mean Tilted Towers will still get demolished, and some story-based explanation is involved?
