When you become a member of the Caio Terra Association you become part of one of the most progressive associations in the world. We provide more than a curriculum and lineage, we provide a road map for success.

Personally designed by 12-time world champion Caio Terra, our curriculum gives you a detailed path for yourself and your students Jiu-Jitsu. We stress fundamentals not because they are basic but because they are important!

With more than 50 schools nationally and internationally, from Hawaii to Switzerland, our strength isn't in any one person but the collective. We truly foster the one team approach and as a member of CTA you benefit directly from the knowledge of others.

All of our affiliates have a personal and professional relationship with Professor Terra. He talks directly to all of affiliates on a regular basis to ensure that all of your Jiu Jitsu and your business are going well! We call this level of care, the Caio Terra difference!

We will send you an email outlining the benefits, requirements, and guidelines of our association. We will take the time to answer all of your questions and ask some questions ourselves. If we progress further there is a question and answer session with some of our affiliate members. This is an excellent opportunity to get more information and to see what it is like to be part of the Caio Terra Association. The final steps is a reference and background check. All US members must go through this, process, no exceptions!

Although Jiu Jitsu is for everyone not everyone who applies will be accepted. This is for a variety of different reasons, it's important that you are a good fit for us and more importantly that we are a good fit for you and your business. To be an affiliate you must be at least a blue belt level and in good standing with people in your community.

Once you are approved and all the forms have been completed, signed and sent back, you will be able to enjoy all the benefits that the association has to offer including exclusive access to all curriculum material and the online network where ALL association black belts (including Caio) are available to answer questions. We will also add you on our listings on our various media outlets and websites and help with marketing.

ANY and ALL members of the Caio Terra Association, regardless if they are an instructor or student, will have access to the online networking and can ask Professor questions. People who are not directly affiliated with CTA however can not access these things. If they sign on with your id, it will be treated accordingly as outlined in our CTA association agreement.

We have a CTA store that offers wholesale pricing to owners and discount pricing to students. In addition to the gear available on the website, we also allow gym owners to make their own merchandise (with approval).

Dues are paid either monthly or annually, and there are NO additional fees. Seminars are strongly encouraged but not mandatory. We offer several camps a year that we encourage all affiliates to attend. These camps typically have several world champs and ratio of 1 black belt to 3 non-black belts. They indeed are game-changing. All association members get a discount for camps!

You will be sent this information when you join! We follow IBJJF guidelines and have minimum requirements for every belt level. You also MUST learn Professor Caio Terra's Curriculum.
