PowerPoint is a standard option, and I use it a lot as the backbone of a lesson/presentation. I then swap to IWB software for the interactive bits. Microsoft Ink is making PowerPoint more usefl. You can now annotate slides. Maybe eventually Microsoft will add an IWB mode which will make the rest of this blogpost irrelevant! (Hint – come on. ActivInspire has the function to export flipcharts to PDF, BMP & JPEG. If you wanted to export to PowerPoint, I would recommend exporting to PDF and then importing to PowerPoint. I'm not aware of any tool out there that does this, but you might reach out to Smart and see if they have a suggestion. I've begun thinking about this and what way we'll be moving. We are on Notebook 11.4 and don't see us purchasing licenses now since we've never did before. I think our usage is lower in creation and actually needing this software is slim. We are G Suite and would like to see them move towards Slides since we are 1:1 with Chromebooks.

I was going to recommend this as a backup source Smart Express, but depending on when the file was created it might need to be updated.

Sounds like a great opportunity to refresh the content. If the teachers don't want to move them over :)
